Custom fields/tags in source RSS feed

  • I’m working with sometimes not-so-standard RSS formats. They’re RSS, but they use custom names for the tags. Is there any way for me to add support to the plugin so I can access the needed source tags?

    A good example of this is <duration>632</duration>, which would be for a video.

    Also, in playing with WP Pipes, I’m wondering what to do with arrays. Some of the sources are “array” and I’m not sure how to get at that data just yet.

    It’s a pity that Pipes does not cover non-standard RSS formats currently. I am afraid there is no work-around about this problem with just options configuration. However, if you really need it, we do offer custom work with a reasonable price, so please contact us again if you are interested.
