your active theme’s functions.php would be a good valid place. Another option would be a quick custom plugin that you activate, in case you need it to not be theme-specific.

that’s the first thing I did but it wasn’t working. I have since learned that this plugin is old and incomplete and doesn’t work correctly if it’s installed via the admin plugins page, but the version on github is the latest version, which I have now installed and everything works. That cost me about 3 hours of frustration but at least I can get on with development now.

Odd, but if you’re up and running, that’s all that matters in the end. I wasn’t part of the development of the plugin, despite the plugin author attribution. I mostly handle the support side ??

I really would like this plugin to succeed because it’s providing a solution I haven’t been able to find from any other plugin. To give it the best chance to succeed, please ask the devs to update the version found in the wp repository to the latest. Right now it’s 1.5, as opposed to 1.6 on github. There’s a significant difference between the two versions. And, have them merge the pull request by rianbotha as that is essential to work with wp 4.7

I’ll see what I can do. I don’t personally know how public-release ready the GitHub copy is, though if they bumped the version, I have to believe it’s at least generally ready. Looks like a lot has changed between the versions.
