Custom Fields on Billing Forms

    Hi!

    I am using “Checkout Field Editor for WooCommerce” in combination with your plugin.

    For the Billing form I have created two extra fields to collect fields from the company. The problem is that, when the option “Use the same shipping fields” is checked, both fields are outside the hidden zone.

    Any solution using hooks?

    Hello Ivankmx,

    Due to potential usability issues of having a field that is on billing and not on shipping and still marking ‘same as shipping’, the extra field has to be visible otherwise the user won’t notice it, if it’s a required information that will cause issues proceeding to the next step.

    If you still need to hide the fields an alternative solution to this is to include the same extra field in the shipping section as well, Fluid checkout will hide the extra fields because they are in both shipping and billing.

    The same logic applies if you need to hide the telephone information in the billing section as well, that could be achieved by changing Fluid checkout configuration and adding the phone field in the shipping address.
