Custom Fields not visible on the snippet Editor

Hi,
i’ve added a custom field (named “wrteaser”) to the meta description of posts in the settings of yoast.
At the frontend i can see the right meta description! Great! But in the Backend (wp-admin) i cant see the text in the snippet preview! There is only the plain variable text “%%cf_wrteaser%%”.
I used the ACF Plugin (Advanced Custom Fields) Plugin to create the wrteaser field….
Could you please help me? If this doesn’t work, we can forget this feature, because Yoast is telling me in every post, that the description is to small (cause he is counting / checking only the plaintext of the variabel! and not of the value of the custom field)
