    Hi,

First of all, thanks for this GREAT plugin!

I just updated NGG to 2.0.57. Unfortunately the NGG Custom fields disappeared at the back-end of NGG galleries.
The NGG custom fields functions still work, but I can not manage them from the galleries any more.

I tried to re-install NGG custom fields, without any luck. Also tried disabling the plugins one by one. No luck so far.

Any ideas how I can manage to make this work again?

    Thanks in advance!

By the way… I can manage the custom fields themselves via the menu, but they do not show up any more in the NGG galleries.

Thanks for the report, some people are reporting the same problem with my Voting plugin too. I think NGG 2.0.57 has changed or removed the ‘hook’ I use to show the settings in the gallery backend.

I will look into this as soon as possible, but that might be a few days still.

I have been having the same issue with disappearing NGG Custom fields at the backend. I just applied the newly released NGG Update (2.0.58) and it does not seem to resolve the problem.

i just updated my WP site to 3.8.1 and all the plugins.
now there seem to be an issue with NextGEN Custom Fields 1.2.2 and NextGEN Gallery by Photocrati 2.0.58.

The custom field that was added thru NextGEN Custom Fields 1.2.1 a long time ago has gone missing, its not showing up on NextGEN Gallery admin, checking the custom field in the screen options panel does nothing. Please fix asap.
    Thank you.

    Hi!

I use WP 3.8.1 and nextgen custom post fields 1.2.2
The new custom field is not displayed in the backend.

    Best regards

Yes, the new NGG versions from 2.0.57 have removed the hook that was being used to show the custom field options. I am working with the NGG devs to get a solution, but right now it’s impossible for me to fix with the way they have changed the code.
The next release should resolve this when NGG gives me a way to.

    Hello,
I installed this plugin in order to make the images working as simple links to other pages of the wordpress blog.
In theory I wanted to follow this tutorial
    https://ombuconsulting.com/how-to-link-nextgen-gallery-images-to-an-individual-page-or-post-in-wordpress/
I think I have the same problem because even if I have linked the galleries to new custom fields I don’t see them while managing the gallery.
I hope you will be able to fix this soon. ??
    Thanks

    Yes, same problem.

    Yes, same problem, too.
NEED that to link from images.
Since all prviously inserted works: is there a (simple) workaround to assign values to the “customned fields”?
Hope the NGG devs will be sensitive!
    And thanks for this plugin!

Hi guys, here’s a quick update:
Last week I asked the NGG devs for a change to the NGG core so I can hook back into the “Manage Gallery” screen and get everything working correctly again as soon as possible, and get an update pushed out to everyone.
But I still haven’t heard anything back from them. I am going away today until the end of March, and I will not have any internet or phone access, so there will be no fix until I am back.

I really do apologize for any inconvenience anyone is having with this, but I cannot fix this until the NGG core allows it ??

    Where are you going? ??

Sorry for the double post. :-\

Thanks for letting us know, I’m looking forward to the update.

Hi eveyone, version 1.2.3 has been released and should fix the issue. Please let me know if there are any other problems.

    Thanks a lot!
