    Hi

Im setting up Jetpack CRM for a client who needs to be translated to Bulgarian. I managed to translate everything except the custom fields. Is there a way to do this?

I did the translation with ‘Loco translate’ plugin but it didn’t work. After I’ve tried directly to name the labels in Bulgarian since I need only one language but a bug appears after adding more than 20 fields.

    Hi there @sjordanov,

Unfortunately, Custom fields can’t be translated automatically and have to be changed manually.

We know it’s not ideal and it can be a time consuming task!

Hi @erania-pinnera Thank you for your answer.

Can you give me a clue how should I translate them manually?

    Thanks

    Hi @sjordanov,

You can manually change the labels of the Custom fields from Jetpack CRM > CRM Settings > Custom fields, and then save.

If you’re referring to something else, would you share the screenshot of exactly what you’d like to translate? Perhaps you wanted to translate the word Custom field itself?

Hi @bluejay77 Thank you for your answer.

I’m aware how to create and name custom fields. I have 50+ custom fields to add. When I name them in English all is working well.

The problem comes when I name them in Bulgarian. When I add all the custom fields and hit “Save” it actually saves only 23 of them as the last three appear first and all others from 23 to 50+ disappears.

    Hi @sjordanov,

Thank you for explaining. This sounds like a bug, and we’d like to gather more information from you, so we can reproduce on our end.

Would you share a screenshot of what you see on your end before and after you “save”? I’m not quite following what you mean by custom fields disappearing. You can create screenshots using something like Snipboard: https://snipboard.io/ or Imgur: https://imgur.com and post the link in a reply here.

If you’re not comfortable sharing the screenshots here, please feel free to submit a Bug report form, citing this ticket.

    Thanks!

    Hello @sjordanov

Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no activity, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!

    Hi @tamirat22

Here’s a video showing exactly what happens. First example is with English where I put 27 custom fields and after “Save” all works fine.

In the second example I name 27 labels in Bulgarian and after “Save” the last one appears first and only 22 are displayed.

    Hi @sjordanov,

Thank you for sharing the screenshot — that is very helpful.

I was able to reproduce the issue on my end by adding numbers in Bulgarian as Custom field labels. I added 24 custom fields, and only 22 were created.

I have escalated this issue to our developers, and re-opened this thread. I’ll keep a close watch and let you know when we know more. Thanks!

    Hi all

I was following for the last couple of months if there will be a progress with this bug but as far as I can see its still not included in the last updates. Do you plan to resolve it?

    Hi there, @sjordanov,

I’m glad you circled back about this issue, because a fix for this should be included in the next plugin update which is schedule to happening later this week, or earlier next week.

Keep an eye on that, and if you see that the issue reoccurs, don’t hesitate to drop us a message!
