Custom fields in the Taxonomy term?

Whether and how to create the field in terms of taxonomy?
For example taxonomy “Trees” has the terms: Birch, Oak, …
I want every word was a picture and more optional fields (such as a Drupal-7)

As I understand it, this still is not possible in wordpress, if I’m wrong, correct.
