    Hi,

We use Jetpack crm for creating invoices.
And we want to add more fields to the invoice template.

Could you please clarify on how to output data from a created custom field to an invoice template?

    Thanks

    Hi @ilonalevchenko27,

You can add as many custom fields as you want from the CRM Settings > Custom fields under the Invoice Custom Fields area:

    Screen Shot

After you save the changes, you can go to Invoices > Add new invoice (that’s the action that “loads” the invoice template) and you should see the basic template you created plus the custom fields added.

The general settings for the invoices are on CRM Settings > Invoicing (one of the tab on the Settings page left sidebar): these settings create the invoice template, while the additional business info is being taken from the Your Business Info settings area.

Hope that answers your question! Let me know if you have any other questions or need some more help.

    Hi @erania-pinnera,

    Thanks for your reply!
Could you please explain more in detail.

here is an example – from the quote section https://prnt.sc/132huy7

I want to display the value in the invoice letter template (https://prnt.sc/132hx55) – set using the custom field https://prnt.sc/132hyh6.

How can I register this variable in the invoice letter template (https://prnt.sc/132i00d) so that not ### INV-ORDER-NUMBER ### are displayed, but the specified value in the invoice itself?

    Your help is much appreciated.

    Thank You

    Hi @ilonalevchenko27

The custom fields for invoices are for storing extra data about the invoice and they’re not currently able to be shown on the actual invoice itself – it’s something we’ve been asked a few times about so I’ll add a +1 to the feature request.

The reason they don’t automatically populate is because too many custom fields would knock out the formatting of the invoice itself
