Custom Fields for Testimonials Custom Post Type

  • Would it be possible to have this plugin allow the option to show Custom Fields for the Testimonials Custom Post Type? I use a plugin for showing social media sharing icons on every blog post. Since WordPress thinks the Testimonials Custom Post Type is a blog entry, it adds the icons to the testimonials, which makes things wonky when displaying them. The social media plugin allows me to disable them from showing on any post by adding a Custom Field and value. But I can’t show Custom Fields on the Edit Testimonials screen.

    Yes this is possible. I will add way more filters to the site so you don’t have to keep modifying the plugin directly. But for now on line 108 of testimonial-rotator.php add ‘custom-fields’ to the supports array.
