Custom fields for groups?

  • Is there any way to sync custom fields for groups on MailChimp?

    For example if we edit a user to say whether they are a business or domestic customer, we then want to be able to email users based on that distinction.

    If not possible, will you be adding this feature?

    It’s not possible to add that distinction with the MailChimp For WooCommerce plugin. Currently, the plugin only syncs First Name and Last Name, but this is definitely a popular piece of feedback we’ve been hearing from users. I’m going to make sure your feedback gets added to the tracking we’ve been doing so we can continue testing and developing improvements like this one for future updates.

    In the meantime, I might recommend looking into an additional plugin that has additional syncing capabilities for additional list fields. Once such plugin is our List Subscribe plugin, though there are many alternatives out there too. I would recommend testing which one works best for you and doesn’t conflict with any other active plugins on the site.
