Custom fields are not narrowing down after selection

    Hello,

    I would like to ask you if you are considering to add the below function.
    I’ve already asked that 6 months ago and i was told it will be considered.

    When you assign a custom field to a product, on the catalog view you can select it and it will narrow down the catalog results. BUT it will not narrow down the other custom fields.
    e.g: my catalog includes 10 items with color and size custom fields. if i select “black” the catalog results will narrow to 5 products but the size custom fields sill shows 10 products… which is not the case.
    It should show only the sizes available with the color black.

    Hi Amir,

    We attempted to implement the feature you requested, but it led to a really large increase in the time it took for filtering to happen. It’s something that we’d like to implement, but only if we find a much, much more efficient way to do it than what we tried.

    Would you guys be interested in purchasing a custom developed function for this from my developer in case it will solve the problem of slow filtering you encountered with?

    Not particularly, we like to keep development in-house as there’s always a lot of updating that needs to be to the main plugin files. If you’ve already got the function, what’s the point of this thread?
