custom fields are being auto deleted???!???

    Hi we’ve just upgraded to 2.1 and it seems that WP2.1 auto deletes -out of the blue- all custom fields of a post (presumably when a new comment is approved, but this is not yet fully confirmed).

    When saving a post with custom fields, everything works fine and they’re displayed. The deletion happens at runtime!

    We’re also running the “Get Custom Field Values” plugin.

    Any idea why this happens?

    resolved! it was some plugin interfering. sorry for the fire drill, but the whole situation looked really odd. phew.

    What plugin was causing the problem? How did you resolve it?

    Hate to say, but it was one of my own plugins that caused the trouble (I used to have a set of pre-selectable custom fields, save me time creating these and entering a value).

    Resolution: plugin is turned off (not compatible with 2.1 and I didn’t feel like making it)
