Custom Fields appearing although main page content is hidden

    i thought i had the plugin working fine – only a certain group of users, when logged in, can see a private page. However content added to custom fields on the page can be seen by anyone, logged in or not
    if i use the [restrict] shortcode tags within the custom field the content is hidden.
    Does the page restriction not work for custom post types (using Advanced Custom Fields ACF)?

    Can you elaborate on your question?

    RUA can limit access to any custom post type, it should not matter if it contains ACF data (or other custom data). If you want to specifically limit access to pages depending on ACF data, you can look into the ACF Restriction add-on.
