    Hi, is there any way I can add the description field or a custom field to the search through PHP or otherwise? Thanks in advance.

    First thanks for using a3rev Software in your store.

    WooCommerce Predictive Search Premium or the Free version does not support searching with descriptions or custom fields. I have previously written this post about why search within description is not a great option if you are interested in reading a detailed explanation.

    We do have search within description and custom fields (this is dependent on how the custom fields are added – e.g by another plugin) for the premium version. A big caveat about search in description is that Predictive Search is hosted on the users server and that server would have to have sufficient resources to run it.

    Please note that I am not saying that search in description or search in custom fields is an option available in the premium version – just saying that it is on the plugins development roadmap.
