Custom fields

My events (racing events) need lots of information, such as:

Driver name 1
Driver name 2
Next of Kin
Next of Kin Tel No
BARC Member Number
etc

How do I add these fields to the booking form? I know I can add custom fields from the instructions here – https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/event-attributes/ – but that’s too complicated. Is there an easier way? I haven’t bought the plugin yet, so just testing with the free version at the moment. Thanks.
