    Hi!

Well we founds something rather obscure. My Authors are allowed to create posts as either draft or pending review. When they create a post as pending review, or change the status from draft to pending review, and then click Save, the Editor must then edit the post to change the status to publish. All of this happens through the front end, so the Authors and Editor are using the Frontier Post form. Neither the Authors or Editor are able to get into the WP Admin.

All of that works fine, except I’ve created a custom taxonomy called Roles. The Roles appear as check boxes in the Frontier Post form via [frontier-post frontier_mode=add frontier_custom_tax=”role” frontier_custom_tax_layout=”checkbox”]. The Authors will check the appropriate Roles for their post, but when the Editor goes to publish the post, the selected Roles are not selected in the Frontier Post form. All of the check boxes are empty. When I check the pending post in the WP Admin the Roles are selected appropriately.

Can you help me resolve this?

    Thank you!
    Gail

Is Role the only custom taxonomy ?

How did you create the Role taxonomy ?

What version of Frontier Post are you using ?

Yes, Role is the only custom Taxonomy that I have created. I used WCK Custom Fields and custom Post Types Creator plugin. And I’m running Frontier Post version 3.7.3.

I am now running Frontier Post version 3.8.1 because of the Frontier Post Edit problem that I discovered and documented in another thread here:
