Custom Fields

Hello Guys,
I’m trying to create custom fields that will appear on the catalog page only if a certain category was selected.
For example: If i selected a category named “syringes”, only then a custom field named “Volume” will appear with its values (e.g 1cc, 3cc, 5cc). I want the custom field to be dynamic and appear only if a certain category was selected. Is that possible?
