• Hi, I’m seeing what appears to be bug with WordPress 2.02 and IE 6.02 (not sure if it’s reachable on other browsers). Here’s the description:

    * create a post with some media link
    * WordPress generates a custom field with key ‘enclosure’ who’s value is the URL of the media link

    PROBLEM:

    * if the URL is long, WordPress can’t properly format the page for editing the post- many of the widgets become unavailable since WordPress is displaying the value of the ‘enclosure’ field over half of the screen.

For example, if I include a long MP3 link, I can’t –after WordPress generates that field– change the timestamp or author, nor can I edit/add other custom fields. Instead, I have to delete that field and then make my changes (WordPress will then regenerate the field). I’m guessing this issue occurs with all custom fields of a certain length. I haven’t found any thing about it in the forums.
