Custom Field Not Used for Page Tests

    Hey,

    Situation:
    In my custom post type I have a second textarea field. This content does appear on the page in a specified location.

    Under SEO Titles & Meta I have added the name of the custom field to the list.

    However, if I include an external URL link in it, the Page test still says I have not.

    I still want that Page Test on this custom post type, so what am I doing wrong, please?

    PS: I am not using “Advanced Custom Fields”, but my own self-created custom post type, if that helps. Thank you.

    Please note that Rank Math only reads custom fields and CPT created using standard WordPress functions.

    Please head over to your WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Post types and enter the custom field name in Custom Fields settings.

    This should allow Rank Math to read the contents of the custom field you have added to your CPT.
