I tried Relevanssi on a huge database with a lot of custom fields and custom types and a large number of records.
I have a CPF called wpcf-reference (from WP-Types) and ask it to be searchable and indexable. It’s value is like PAM-CATEGORIE-NUMBER like PAM-OBJET-00876.
The search report no results on this query : PAM-OBJET-00876 and the index in sql as no term for this…
    Could you help ?

Have you rebuilt the index after adjusting Relevanssi settings? Do note that Relevanssi indexes “PAM-OBJET-00876” as “pam objet 00876”. If you search for just “00876”, you’ll find the record you’re looking for.

I would suggest switching the default operator to AND. I think you’ll find the results are more accurate that way.

It is also possible to adjust what Relevanssi does to hyphens, to keep them or to just remove them, instead of replacing them with spaces. You can try that, if switching to the AND operator doesn’t help.

    Dear Mikko,
The operator was already set to AND.
The hyphen replacement works very well.
Thanks for that very quick and effective support.
I’m considering having the premium version soon.
    Thanks for all the efforts.
