custom field keeps dissapearing …

  • this starts to annoy me a bit, I have 2 custom fields one for the image and another for the description.

    the description custom field just keeps dissapearing, I just recently added the description again an now it’s gone again !! I add it, everything works fine but a bit later it’s gone..

    what is going on here?

  • Gone from the database? Check your ‘wp_postmeta’ table to be sure…

    And while your in phpMyAdmin repair all your tables if possible.

    no it’s not gone from the database, thanks for the tip

    I noticed the description custom field names were changed to _aioseop_description ?? I have no idea why

    ok so I altered the tables to change it to description again, but like I thought there were some duplicates. I removed those and repaired the database and cleared cache. they are back now, I hope for good ??

    It happend again !! why does it change the name of the custom field ?
