    Hi,

First I want to say thank you for a great plugin — if I can get this issue to work I will gladly make a donation since it is well worth it and I want to pay you for your time!

I have imported a CSV (I did an export of the existing custom posts so I had a base) — and everything imported fine.

I have custom fields that were done with the Custom Field Suite – I used the same field title that the export put out (we already had some items that we manually enetered that had the custom field populated).

The custom field on import is showing in the database — but it is not showing on the front end. And when we go into the admin to view the post – the actual custom field suite entry box is empty (but the default wordpress custom field area does have the text from the CSV).

How can I get that field to “hook” into the CFS field? I did see something about JSON but that was a little over my head and was not sure that was the issue?

    Thank you for your help!

    Hi Jill

I’m not familiar with Custom Field Suite. From your report, it does sound like it may not be compatible with WP CSV. You could perhaps ask the authors to clarify what is required. You could find that it’s either quite complicated or impossible to achieve what you want with WP CSV.

    Best wishes

    Paul

Thanks Paul – we went ahead and just added the data manually —- appreciate your feedback though!
