Custom field got deleted and cannot be restored

  • Hello, i had a custom field that was required for a plugin to work. Now it got deleted but i cannot restored it back. I am restoring the database and files, did server rewind and is still disappeared. What happened?

    Please help me asap with this issue, my custom plugin does not work for this…

  • It’s an issue with the latest version of ACF… Because I have the same problem. If you deactivate the plugin you’ll see that your custom fields are still there.

    For some reason AFC hides the fields and prevents you from editing them.

    I emailed them a few days ago but never heard anything back.

    I suggest deactivating the plugin adding in the custom fields you need then reactivate the plugin. Till they get a fix.

    If I find a work around i’ll let you know.

    Run the “Database update” that is now released by ACF. That corrected the problem for me.
