Custom Field for Product ID/POS

    We have a client that is migrating from Open Cart, and they use a custom ID field to identify their products to their POS platform. A lot of the products have qty variations.

    1. What would be the easiest way to add a custom ID field that can be used for the POS, and also be included in a Product CSV import?

    2. How can we display the option to enter an ID value on the Product Edit page?

    Hi there,

    One option would be to use the custom ID field as the SKU field in WooCommerce – that way, no further customisation is required and it can be edited for each product individually ??
