custom field

  • I have a custom field of post_item_url and the value is a link to a site to buy the product through a buy now button. It would be ok if i just had a few posts as i would just use the link, but i have 1600 posts. So i wanted to use a line of code with ad inserter so i would only need one bit of code. Any ideas

  • Is the link same for all of them, if this is the case, you can simply update post meta table for all post with that link, if its different, then i think you need to do it manually bcoz its not fixed that which url goes in which post.

    They are all different links, and want to incorporate the links into a buy now button, using ad inserter,so the button with right links go on each post. As i said if i just had a few posts, i would just copy the link into ad inserter and it would be ok

    I dont think there is an easy way to accomplish this, however you can try asking this question in ad inserter plugin forum, may be they have some good suggestions/fix for you
