    Hi,

    I am trying to put together a custom feed for shopflix.gr, a marketplace similar to Skroutz.

    For some reason they require to have a header in their feed followed by a timestamp.

    i.e.

    <?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”utf-8″?>

    <MPITEMS>

    <created_at>2021-11-23 11:12:00</created_at>

    I can create the custom feed mapping normally, however the problem is that without the <MPITEMS> header is is not acceptable by their side.

    Is it possible to manually put a custom header in the feed or is there some other way around?

    Thanks in advance

  • Hi,

    Thanks for reaching out to us. Unfortunately it is not possible to add a MPITEMS tag or timestamp to the header of any feed, also not the custom feed.

    Thanks for the prompt reply.

    Are there any plans to include such a feature in the future? Or create a feed for Shopflix?

    Thanks

    Hi,

    We, unfortunately, have no plans to support Shopflix in the near future. This is because you are the first of our > 100k users who is requesting support for it. Only when we have multiple unique users requesting a feature or new template we will consider adding it to the plugin.

    Fair enough.

    Although, I must say it’s strange that out of >100k users no one has ever asked for a custom header.

    Thanks in any case.

    Assuming the issue at hand has been resolved and our support is no longer required I will close this topic for housekeeping reasons now.

    Do not hesitate to reach out to us again in-case you need our help again.
