    Hi,

I have a very difficult question (I think). A customer of mine wants this order flow:

    – A customer is checking out a product and he fills in his Billing Details

    – He also fills in his Shipping Details, but there has to be an extra field for a separate Shipping email address

Now here is the difficult part..

The customer wants 4 custom emails to be added..

    1. Order notification, this has to be send to the Billing email address. This standard in WooCommerce and is no problem.

    2. Invoice, this has to be send to the Billing email address. This I can do with an invoice plugin so this is no problem also.

    3. Payment reminder, this is a bit difficult because WooCommerce has no standard payment reminder emails..

    4. Shipping notification, this has to be send to the Shipping email address. This is the most difficult thing of all.. Our client wants to be able to send out a shipping notification to the Shipping email address and NOT to the Billing email address, which is WooCommerce basic option..

Is there anyway I can get this done?

  • Hi @basvweb,

You should be able to do this with AuomateWoo. It lets you send custom emails based on events on your site. It can work with custom meta information which most likely is how the shipping email is stored.

If that’s the case, then you could send an email automatically to the shipping email address when the order status is changed to whatever status you specify.

    https://woocommerce.com/products/automatewoo/

There is a 30 day refund window so you can give it a try. If you decide it’s not for you, you can get your money back.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Hi @basvweb,

Hopefully, that extension worked for you. Since we haven’t heard back from you in a while, I’m marking this thread resolved. If you do have any questions, please feel free to open up a new topic and we’ll be happy to help out.

    Cheers
