Custom Effect: Highslide interfering with Sidebar

  • Hi there. I’ve been working with the NexGen plug-in and because I wanted an image browser, with a big image and a description, as well as thumbnails, I followed the instructions in this post:

    I’ve got everything working except that it seems there is some interference with my sidebar. Strangely all the text in my widgets have turned into links that send you to the last thumbnail in my NexGen gallery. The sidebar code is correct when I open it in my editor. But when I view source on the site, I see all these randomly placed links, marked with the class “highslide.” What happened?

    I’m not very familiar with JS. Can anybody tell me why I have this sidebar interference and what can I do to fix it?

    I also noticed that when I write text in my description box in the dashboard, that I can’t have any returns or it displays as “undefined.” Is this normal?
