Custom date / time display

Yes, display settings should have what you need.

Unfortunately it has formats of “yyyy-mm-dd” “yy/dd/mm” “day, mon yy” etc all variations but zero formats where they’re separated by dots.

Okay, that’s not hard. What format exactly are you looking for?

I’m looking for “d.m.yy” and “dd.mm.yyyy” (European standard settings)

Okay. I’ll add that to the list for the next release. In fact, I think I’m just going to let users set whatever date format they want. They’ll have to read the date() man page, but they will have all the flexibility PHP offers.
