Custom date format not shown correctly

I have WordPress 3.6 and everything up to date. In Settings -> General under Date Format I set it as ‘Custom’ (j. F, Y). I also have qtranslate with only two languages: Slovenian (default) and English.
The problem: In the blog listing the dates are ok in Slovenian but not in English language. I guess pictures are worth thousand words so I’ll explain like this:
