custom date field display

    Hello Joost,

    Thank you for this great plugin. It is very useful and great for SEO.

    One thing that i need to customise with the plugin is to show the custom date field in the meta.

    The date is inserted in unix format yyyy-mm-dd. But i would like to customise its display in the meta as dd.mm.yyyy

    is this somehow possible?
