• I only have one line of custom CSS. I just tried this out on 3 different browsers. I should add that I’m only experiencing this issue on one site, which is on a different host than my other website, so I imagine it is related to a configuration unique to the wordpress setup on this one site. I installed wordpress using an installer. Should I remove the installation, and reinstall by hand?

    Hi guroove!

    Can you elaborate a bit more on what’s happening on your site? I’m not sure what you mean by “requires refresh to reload.”

    Thanks!

    I never said “requires refresh to reload.” The custom CSS does not load when you visit the site, unless you hit the refresh button. I’m not sure how I can say it more succinctly and to the point than that.

    I should also add that it happens every time you try to load the page. It initially loads without the custom CSS code that I placed in the plugin. Then when you refresh the page, it shows.

    Hmmm. Can you send me a link to the page?

    Thanks,

    Strangely, it seems to be more intermittent at the moment than it was when I first posted. Since posting, I removed the Contact Form 7 plugin. Is there a known conflict with this plugin?

    I would like to send you the link, but I’m trying to keep the site private until I get the site launched.

    Will posting it like this prevent the search engines from getting to it?

    The custom css part is the drop shadow around the main body content.

    Hi guroove,

    It looks like there is something strange going on here. When I try to refresh the page on Chrome, I get a message that says “Confirm Form Submission,” as though I’d filled out some form fields on the page, but I hadn’t.

    Although it’s possible that there is a conflict with Contact Form 7, I’d be really surprised if there were. None has been reported among all of our users.

    Can you paste in the text you’ve entered into the Simple Custom CSS plugin screen? This would give me a bit more information about what’s happening here.

    We’ll get this worked out!

    Thanks,

    John

    .site-branding {
          display: inline-block;
    }

    .site-logo {
          float: left;
          margin-right: 20px;
    }

    I’m 100% sure that the CSS code has nothing to do with it, because this behavior with the form submission was happening regardless of what code was in the plugin. Just FYI, I just uninstalled wp and reinstalled by hand today. This is a brand new wordpress installation less than one hour old with only the one plugin installed now.
