Custom CSS only applies to some books but not others?

  • I have custom CSS to change the way my book pages appear. For some reason, all of the CSS changes apply to some book entries while other ones only have half the changes.

    This is an example of a page that only accepted half the changes (see the bottom of the entry – missing icons): https://loriryanromance.com/book/cherish-and-protect/

    Can you help me figure out what is different about those two book entries that one accepts all of the custom CSS and the other doesn’t? Thank you!

    Hello,

    The way the book pages works is that the 2nd set of buy links only shows up if there is an excerpt over 1500 characters. It looks like you have entered an excerpt on All In but have hidden it through custom CSS. Since Mooberry Book Manager doesn’t know about your custom CSS, it still displays the 2nd set of icons even though the excerpt doesn’t display.

    Cherish and Protect doesn’t appear to have an excerpt entered so the 2nd set of icons never gets put out by Mooberry Book Manager.
