    I’ve put a ‘recent posts’ widget in the footer but I want to hide it on the blog page so that the list of posts isn’t duplicated.

    I’ve given the block the addidional CSS class of ‘post’ and when I use the following CSS it works fine and the block disappears from the site:

    .posts {?
    display: none;
    }

    but when I use the page id to make it only diappear on the blog page, like this:

    .page-id-72 .posts {?
    display: none !important;
    }

    it doesn’t work.?

    I’ve tried using the page class ‘blog’ (.blog instead of .page-id-72) but that didn’t work either. I’ve also tried using ‘body.page-id-72’ but that didn’t work.

    Any idea what I’m doing wrong?

    Many thanks,

    Vince

  • Hi,

    Your site is under construction so I can’t see your exact code.

    The only thing that caught my eye from your code, is that you might need to change to code to this, because it looks like you have an ID there, not a class:

    #page-id-72 .posts {?
    display: none !important;
    }

    Regards,

    Rodica
