I would like the “Latest from the blog” section to look different. The pictures are a little to small, and I don′t want the excerpt out of the post shown. I only want pictures with date and headline below or above.

Does anyone know how to code that? In what sheet (base.php, front.php..?) and know what I can throw out and exchange?

The person who can make this is genius. THANKS!!

    Hello,
So one option would be to set your summary to show as full (theme options > home layout scroll to the bottom). Then for each post instead of setting a featured image add your image to the content area then insert a “read more” tag below the image.
    Does that work for you?

thank you, doesnt sound bad. But sorry, I didn′t get the thing with the image…
So I don′t add a featured image. But what do you mean with “add your image to the content area?”

and please don′t get me wrong, I don′t mean the “Latest Post” section. I don′t show this section anymore.

I mean the little thumbnails with text and date “latest from the blog”.

Hmm sorry that does actually change things. For some reason I assumed you were referring to the latest posts. There isn’t a built in option in the free theme to set the “latest from the blog” post summaries to full.
If you did want to use the latest posts option you would add an image to the top of the content area of each post by clicking “Add Media” and inserting an image. Then insert a read more tag right below that.

To clarify. You can only do this by making your font page the posts page in your settings > reading. Then using the “page content” module in the theme options > home layout.
