Custom confirmation page not appearing

My (multi-page) form is working fine, but my custom confirmation page is not appearing once the form has been submitted (the Google default appears and then nothing happens). I’ve put in my URL and selected AJAX as the style. I’m also not receiving emails (though this is turned on), however my form responses are being logged in the associated Google Spreadsheet so it’s working on that end.
Is there a step I’ve missed? I’ve tried putting the info into the shortcode and I’ve also tried it in the Google Forms Details, but neither works.
