Custom Confirmation page issue

Hi, first at all thank you for the great plugin.
My problem is when I set custom confirmation page and click the confirmation email, it redirects good to my custom confirmation page, but the subscribers appears as Unconfirmed, if I set to Mailpoet page(confirmation page) everything works good. How can I fix this issue and use custom confirmation page?
