    Two things here.

    1. Every time I update the text in the rich text fields (rather than the text only ones), it strips the formatting, paragraphs and break characters out. That seems counter-intuitive… or a bug!

    2. Can we have an option to say what emails the message is included on? At the moment it seems to be included on absolutely every email sent, which doesn’t make sense for the cancellation, refund or admin emails. It only really should be on the completed order email. Or, have different messages for different email types.

    3. It would be great to have the messages defined at event level.

    Yeah, based on what you are saying here #1 seems like a bug. I will need to look into that further to make sure, and if required I will make an adjustment in the next release for it.

    #2 seems really odd to me. There are filters in every email that WooCommerce sends out (yeah we are just augmenting those emails here), and each one has the specific name of the email in the filter. It seems odd that the ‘completed’ order email filter is being used in the refund/cancellation emails. I will look into this further. Sounds like it could be a WooCommerce bug, but I will know more once I have a look.

    #3 yeah this has been asked for a few times, but there is an inherent complication that comes with it, which has halted all work on it. Having a special message per event works great if all your customers only buy tickets to a single event. The problem comes in though when they buy tickets for multiple events. Now you have a case where multiple messages could show. You may not want that, and you may only want one of them to show, or none if there are more than one. The issue is ‘what do we do in this scenario?’ Basically, no good solution has been thought of for this contingency, and that has throw the a proverbial wrench in the cogs for it. Despite that, I will give it another round of thought, and loop in the team, and see if we can come up with something for it.

    Thanks for reporting this. #1 and #2 will get released today, in version 2.2.3. #3 will be in a future release, once we can figure out some good logic for it.
