Custom Community – Using Master Slider pro – can't get slider to work

Greetings,

We recently decided to switch from Custom Community’s included slider to Master Slider Pro.

Everything worked great in the setup, but when I add a slideshow to a php file or widget, it does not load the slides. Instead, there is just a big blank area w/ a spinner in the middle.

I tried deactivating and reactivating all plug ins and that did nothing.

(I would prefer not to have to go to WP default theme and potentially have to reset a bunch of little things to get back to base. So, I am avoiding that step if possible.)

I’m wondering if you all have any known issues with the custom community slider getting in the way, or some other issue, and might have some good work around tips?

The CC theme has a scroll-to-top button. This works well otherwise, but throws an “Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function.” This impacted the Master Slideshow’s loading, causing it to fail. Turning off the scroll-to-top button that came with the theme fixed the issue.
