Custom Community slideshow issues

  • I’m having lots of trouble getting the slideshow to work properly in Custom Community 2.0.

    At first it wouldn’t display at all, but I was able to get around that by disabling the slideshow and then re-enabling it. However, it seems that the settings in the customizer just aren’t working properly.

    A few of the issues I’m having:

    If I select the captions to bounce in, they don’t appear. Show in the customizer preview but no on the actual site. The only way I can get them to show is in ‘display, no effect’.

    Fonts aren’t working properly. I have italic selected for the title and nothing for the caption. However, italic isn’t displaying and there seems to be drop shadow and possibly bold on the caption. Changing these setting seems to make no difference.

    In the customizer preview, the background colours are slightly transparent. On the actual site they are opaque blocks of colour.

    I’m really only in the setup stage of the site, but you can see how it currently looks at https://www.snowdoniablog.com . Any help on this would be hugely appreciated as it’s getting pretty frustrating.
