The Custom Community Theme will be updated to the new version 2.0!

It will be a completely reworked truly responsive WordPress Theme based on the latest Twitter Bootstrap.

We plan to have all finished around the next 4-6 weeks. And we want to have your feedback and testing results!

So, it also depends a lot on your feedback – and when we think it is time, we will update this repository to the new version 2.0 of Custom Community Theme.

Will this be ready as a regular update to the free version 1.17.3.1? I have had this message on my dashboard for quite a while and don’t understand why: “This theme is outdated by now. Please read the blogpost about the current status of version 2.0 – Get involved and help us making it the perfect WordPress theme for you!” Am I supposed to do something?

Yes it will come as a regular update uploaded to the Custom Community Theme Repo here.

You will have Custom Community version 2.0 then.

It will be total rework of Custom Community.

As the codebase got already around 5 years old and many new web techniques are available, this radical cut was urgently needed.

We tried to keep all options possible and improve everything, from theme options logic to HTML, CSS and PHP markup, and many more things.

Am I supposed to do something?

IF YOU want to be a part of the development decisions, then now it’s the time to give us your personal feedback and discuss anything about the new version 2.0 !
