Hi John, sounds like you were reading the theme info page on WordPress.com. Colour palettes are a WordPress.com feature, not something built into the individual themes. Since your site is self-hosted – i.e. running the WordPress software on your own hosting – that option is not available to you.

However, if you let me know which of the Sequential palettes from WordPress.com that you like, I’d be glad to provide you with the custom CSS you can use to get the same effect on your self-hosted site. Here they are:

    Hi Kathryn,

I’d really appreciate it if you could please provide the CSS for option 1 & 2, as I’m not really sure which one would look better.

Will this also change the color of the CTA when you hover it or the link color (i.e. to red, respectively yellow)?

    Thank you!
    John

All default elements should reflect the new colour scheme. If you see any elements not taking on the new scheme, link to the post or page where I can see it, and I’d be glad to help with any extra CSS needed.

Thanks a lot! I will try both of them and get back to you if I have further issues.
