• Hi,

I know how to add a custom color palette to my theme, through my functions.php and style.css files, but I was wondering if someone can direct me in the right direction to do the same for the tables?
These now still give some horid pastel options that clash with the theme colors…
And my client is using these colors and I hate the look.

Let me know if you need more info…

  • There is often a limitation that developers set in the theme’s functions.php file. You will have to find this and remove it to get back the color wheel and/or swap the locked colours. If you post your functions.php somewhere, someone can likely point out the exact code being used to lock it down (if they didn’t include it in a theme file elsewhere instead).

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply.

I have a child theme of twentythirteen. In my childtheme I replaced the normal color palette and this works as it should.

My problem is with the tables. The colors here are not defined in the functions.php of twentythirteen, so I don’t know how to overwrite them in my childtheme…

Just checked another site with a totally different theme: same horrid pastel colors for the tables… So looks to be not theme related.
