• Hi,

First: Thanks for your great plugin. Have been using it for a long time.

I always used this in combination with the plugin “Widget Shortcodes“. It creates a widget area in the admin in which you can put any widget. After saving your settings it creates a shortcode so you can put your widget anywhere in the site. Very ideal for Simple Social Icons, I am able to put multiple icon widgets throughout the site.

However, since (I think) the latest version, the css is no longer generated for icons I use in this matter. I notice in inspector that the markup stays the same (div id=”simple-social-icons-#” > ul > li > a) but when used as a widget shortcode from this specific widget area, the css is just not attached…

But: With this plugin, The shortcodes are also generated for any widget in any widget area. I already used Simple Social Icons in the header, and when I paste this shortcode somewhere else, it works fine…

Probably a jQuery selector issue? Any ideas?

    Thank you!
( I put both shortcodes in the footer for comparison)
