1&2) So, you basically want a site where each vendor will have a different check out process/payment gateway and the customer will buy products from any one vendor in a given transaction. Also, the vendors will get the payment directly from the customer; these vendors will pay the siteowner a fixed recurring listing fees.
So, would this also mean that a customer won’t be able to buy products from multiple vendors in a single transactions?
Either way, I am afraid WCMp (and WooCommerce) cannot help you with different carts for different vendors.
If you really want different cart/check out process/payment gateway for different vendors, you may try taking the multi-site approach where each vendor’s store will be in separate/unique subdomains. However, even this approach will require medium to heavy custom development.
If you think your business model may be tweaked to allow…..
1)one standard shopping cart/payment gateway
2)Site-owner getting paid from the customer, who in turn disburses the amount to the vendor
……then the WCMp plugin(and the planned paid add-ons) will let you set a recurring charge for vendors, and real time/on the fly disbursement of the commission earned, customized shipping mode etc.
Btw, the “checkbox to approve vendor to publish products directly does not work” and ” why we share the same media file, vendor can browse my media file” – these two bugs have been fixed in the latest release(2.0.1).
Hope this helped. I am marking this issue as resolved. If not, please feel free to open a new thread.
Thanks
