    Hi,

I wanted to custom sort the product category view on the Woo shop page . ( Not by any default sorting order such as alphabetical or popularity). Somebody suggested me this plugin for this purpose.

I am not sure if I have made myself clear here. If not, I want to display the product categories instead of products on the woocommerce shop page. I have more than 50 categories and wanted to display in a particular order based on the product type- so that customers can pick what they want, without struggling through.

I re-arranged the product categories in the product_cat section, but nothing has changed anywhere- neither frontend nor backend. Did I misread the purpose of this plugin? Can Someone confirm this. Thank you.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,
This plugin can sort those product categories, yes.

It could be that caching is in the way. I see you use WP Rocket. Is there a way to clear the cache and check again if things are in the desired order?

If it’s not a caching issue, can you tell me which theme you are using and how this shop page is built? If it is a commercial theme, please send a zipfile of the theme to [email protected] so I can test with it and see if and how it works.
If there is a plugin or custom code to generate this frontpage with categories, can you tell me how?
If I can reproduce your setup, I can also see an test if things work or if there is something missing or needed.

Hi, thanks a lot for the quick response. Yes, I cleared both server and browser cache and tried, but the issue remains.
I use BeTheme. Unfortunately it was done by an agency and they don’t exist now.So no way to send a copy.

The page are generated by Woocommerce.Customizer/Woocommerce/Product catalogue. I chose to display Product categories instead of products as we have about 1000 products.

Well, I found a workaround anyway. I just re-ordered the default product categories and it changed the page display order. ??

Thank you so much for your time and attempt to clear the issue.
