Custom Category Links

  • Hi, I have created custom pages for my menu categories (travel, food, photos, etc) However, by default, when I click on my Travel category in the sidebar, it goes to a category page but I want it to go to my custom page related to that category. How would I do that please?

    So for instance, in the nav bar you click Travels and page displays. Then in the sidebar if I click on category Travel, I want the same page to display but it’s not.

    Replace the categories widget with a custom menu widget.

    Thanks, good idea. Will try!

    Although I also have the problem in other places like the Category link on the Meta bar with author name, date, etc.

    I am so lost on this. I have tried so many different ways, stripping the category from the link, naming the slugs to point to my custom page. I caught it to work for few seconds and then on the next refresh, it was going page to category page.

    Looks like something it redirecting it and I cannot figure out what it is.

    I am even using category plug in on the sidebar.
