• Hi.. I’m just learning how to build a website, have been looking at wordpress so far and can’t find any tutorials for my problem.

What I want to do is make custom buttons. I’m looking at having a background image and then 3 other images on top, each of which are clickable.

Is there a way to do this on wordpress/ or am I using the wrong software?

    Cheers!

    ahackers77,

there are plugins available to add custom buttons in WordPress.
‘Visual Editor Custom Buttons’ is one example…

so what it is im looking to do is overlap my own images on top of a larger background image.. i was hoping there would be a way to drag them to a particular place on top of the background; for example i might have a book ( as a button) somewhere in the image and would like to click this in order to link somewhere else.

    – though the tutorials i watch all look quite regimented in terms of where you can place things – i’d like to be able to blend my buttons in as part of the image if possible

thanks, im having a look at visual custom editor, not quite found what im looking for but will keep looking at some more
