custom blocks get deleted on update

    Hello,

    I made some custom blocks for my client, they are working fine. I’ve tried to register them with the add_action() function and upload them to wp-content/plugins/newsletter/emails/blocks as described here. In both cases they are showing up in the composer. But whenever the plugin gets updated, they get deleted. Is there a way to prevent this?

    WP deletes the plugin folder on update, for every plugin. Add your blocks on a folder that is not part of a plugin or a theme.
