Custom Block with one column for image and one column for text

  • Hi,

    What I’m wanting to do is create a section (custom block I think?), which allows the client to upload a photo (which is floated left) and a text section (floated right). I would like the page to display all of the images and text. The section is used for showing employees. How would I go about this?

    I would like it to be in it’s own section in the backend called our team. I would like it to automatically float the images left and the text right.

    It’s not clear exactly what you want to do, and it may be possible with your existing theme and templates, but you’d need to post a link to your site. Also, what do you mean by a “section in the backend called our team”?

    So far as the alignment, you can do that with basic CSS:

    What I want to do is have a section in wordpress that is called Our Team and in there it will have a section to add a feature image and also the bio about the person. Then each team member will be displayed under that section and displayed on the one page. So it will be near the Tools and Appearance tabs in wordpress. I am currently creating my own theme.
